What you'll need
- Cast iron skillet — Sears better than any non-stick; naturally non-stick once seasoned.
- Enameled Dutch oven — For braises, roasts, and one-pot mains.
- Instant-read thermometer — The only reliable way to nail doneness without guessing.
Instructions
- Cook rice per package. Mix coconut aminos, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and arrowroot with ¼ cup water for sauce.
- Heat wok over high until smoking. Add 1 tbsp avocado oil. Sear beef in batches 1 min per side. Remove.
- Add remaining oil. Stir-fry broccoli and snap peas 3 min. Add bell pepper 1 min more.
- Return beef, pour in sauce. Toss until sauce thickens and coats, 1 min. Serve over rice with sesame seeds.
